The summit aims to convene teens and young adults in and around the city of Pittsburgh and Allegheny County to strategize with experts, law enforcement professionals, community service leaders, and other stakeholders regarding ways to address the uptick in gun violence and public safety hazards that continue to plague the young people and families in our city, along with the associated destruction of human life and property that accompanies such episodes. The primary sponsor of the summit is Youth Enrichment Services. Other co-sponsors will be announced in the coming weeks. The summit chairs are retired FBI Agent Don Seaton, Law Enforcement Professional RC Hughes III, and City of Pittsburgh Police Outreach Coordinator Tiffany Kline-Costa. The United States Attorney Cindy Chung will facilitate the afternoon panel. This event will be highlighted by NASA Special Agent David Daniels-Watanabe, who will deliver the Keynote Address.
