Khaliah James

Case Manager

Khaliah James is in her final semester at West Virginia University to receive her Bachelor’s degree in Sport and Exercise Psychology and minors in Business Administration and Psychology. Her passion for working with youth led her to intern with YES in 2018. During that time, she led a Youth Community Health Project in conjunction with the Allegheny County Health Department to understand — and reduce — opioid use in Pittsburgh. Now, she returns to YES, not as an intern, but as a case manager for the Pathways to Access Program (PAP), where she hopes to gain strong connections, help students align their career and academic interests, and make a difference in the lives of young people.
