Coordinator of Financial Literacy
Norma Groover has over 30 years of management, sales, and training experience within the banking and real estate industries. Primary positions and roles held include: Property and Client Relations Manager, Community Office Manager, Regional Sales Executive, Financial Education Sales Executive, Business Banker, National Speaking Representative, Financial Education Program Coordinator and Program Developer. Responsibilities afforded Ms. Groover the opportunity to work with industries and people from all walks of life and age groups. Those groups includes students grades K – 12, higher education students and graduates; educators and other school officials; for-profit and not-for-profit organizations, public and private institutions, small business owners, corporations, and entrepreneurs.
Norma is also a financial education and life skills coach. Workshops are conducted for youth and young adults as well as employees at the workplace or community organizations. As the oldest of seven siblings, an entrepreneur, and national athletic champion, teamwork and leadership seeds were practiced at an early age. Working within the real estate industry, employment as a banking officer and volunteerism positioned her to consistently enjoy helping to transform and help improve the quality of lives for many.
Norma earned a BA in Economics from the University of Pittsburgh and a dual Master of Science Degree in Management and Technology from Carlow University.
Mrs. Groover and her husband are proud parents of two adult children who benefited from participation in the YES programs as a youth and they later served as YES volunteers and supporters in various capacities. Norma has conducted workshops for YES participants for several years and served on the Board of Directors for over 10 years. She encourages your support of Youth Enrichment Services Inc.
